David Weddle was a regular contributor to the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine television series, and received several onscreen credits while holding the position of Executive Story Editor. His only story submission was 'Rules of Engagement'. He wrote the teleplay for several episodes, including 'The Assignment', 'The Reckoning', and 'Treachery, Faith and the Great River'. He was the writer for the episodes 'Business as Usual', 'Sons and Daughters', ''Til Death Do Us Part', and 'Extreme Measures'. Mister Weddle also wrote the episode 'Inquisition', which introduced Sloan and Section 31 into the Star Trek universe.
Mister Weddle received top billing for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Setion 31 - Abyss, and co-wrote the story with Jeffrey Lang.
