The S.C.E. team up with Deep Space Nine's finest against a vicious new foe!
Two years ago, Chief Miles O'Brien of Deep Space Nine led a salvage mission to the Trivas system and an abandoned Cardassian station named Empok Nor. Starfleet Cadet Nog, the first Ferengi to attend the academy, was one of the three survivors to return to Deep Space Nine.
As a newly commissioned ensign, Nog went with his father Rom and Uncle Quark to Empok Nor for a prisoner exchange to get his grandmother Ishka back from the Dominion during the height of the war.
Now, as a Starfleet lieutenant, Nog must return to Empok Nor.
Three months after the end of the Dominion War, Colonel Kira Nerys had to save Deep Space Nine from destruction at the hands of a rogue Jem'Hadar soldier by ejected the lower core before it could overload. The emergency battery power supplied by Starfleet is running low, and Chief of Operations Nog is sent to the Trivas system to transport Empok Nor's lower core back to Bajor.
After the Runabout Rio Grande is dispatched to the Trivas system, Colonel Kira contacted Captain David Gold of the USS da Vinci to assist the Ferengi officer in his mission.
With First Officer Sonya Gomez on a special assignment, the crew must find a way to work together against an old enemy as time is running out for Deep Space Nine.
