Rotary Park, west of pond.

  • Botanical Name: Fraxinus mandshuica
  • Medium Moisture/Sun/Attracts Wildlife
  • Height & Spread: 10m x 5m
  • Form: compact; upright-oval
  • Leaf: light green; opposite; compound leaf; yellow fall colour
  • Bark: grey; becomes furrowed with age
  • Fruit: single seed with long wing that hang in clusters
  • Use: good shade or boulevard tree; seeds are eaten by birds
