Some of the other Dubai crowd arrived and we continued up the pylon track, encountering some camels crossing on several occasions.

We then travelled into the dunes for some easy off roading, although a few people did manage to get stuck. It also gave me an opportunity to drive a 1.8 Freelander with manual shift, much different to my own 2.5 V6.
