A call from Mark Powell of Team Saluki to come out and play in the dunes south of Al Maha without newbies was too good to resist especially as there would be the Regional Sales Manager of Land Rover and the owner of Difflock magazine also travelling with us. The meeting point was at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel at 0700.

Mark picked a challenging route that basically took me to my limits but enjoyable ones and got the adrenaline going, which unfortunately did not allow me to take many photographs, but I really enjoyed myself before bailing out as I had to catch a flight later to Jeddah.
