Nursery Slopes

ME4x4 annually run a large training day for novice sand drivers, which we call NURSERY SLOPES, however due to the increasing membership and demand for more trips we decided to run another large trip in our usual training area around Al Hayer.

We tried to restrict the numbers however we ended up with 10 marshal vehicles and a mixed bunch of another 37 vehicles which when split up into smaller groups gave us an advantage of two marshals per group

Some major logistics were involved in corelating all these vehicles coming Sharjah, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. I personally was in charge of the Dubai lot.

After an hour of driving we reached Jabeeb, only to find that one of the groups that left before us (Henk) had missed the turn off, but he was not alone, Sanjay and the group from Sharjah had also made the same mistake.

Marcin had already set up shop distributing his sand ladders to those who had told him that they would be coming on this trip. This would be a day for testing.

Finally Stu and the Abu Dhabi lot pitched up
