The end of the dunes brought us into Wadi Sumaniyi, and we then headed up towards Al Hayer Forest where we came across a Jeep Cherokee stuck in a small bowl.

Chef T decided that this was a perfect opportunity to test Alan P's electric winch and/or Prasad's hydraulic one.

Prasad went first but basically the guy being pulled out managed to reverse back into the bowl again, so Alan P used his electric second time round.

The group that we had come across were rather inexperienced and had some problems during an earlier recovery when a strap broke and a shackle smashed the back of the Patrol doing the recovery.
