We quickly secured his vehicle to prevent a roll over (memories of my roll two years ago flashed back,) and proceeded to dig out the rear wheels in order to slip the vehicle back round whilst secured to Chris's Rangie.
Once ready he managed to reverse back and down to the bottom of the bowl.
We had spent some time for this recovery and decided to head back to the Shah oilfield road towards the tarmac.

We made the blacktop at 4.00pm and had a well deserved lunch before heading back on a 4 hour journey to Dubai
