These rare milky white ten limbed venomous horrors are usually mature at 9 feet high and 6 feet wide at the body, though most encountered tend to be juveniles which start at a mere 2 feet in diameter from one clawed multi-jointed ripping appendage to another. Evidence indicates the possible existence of even larger mature specimens.
Not much is yet known about these creatures. Found only in one place on Deridous4 so far, they have the ability to "Phase" through solid objects such as stone cave walls. They can also phase through walls with their victims in tow. Ferocious in combat, they can sense movement through rock at least 40 feet away. They can spin large (non-flammable) webbed traps which are not easily noticeable until it's too late.
Obviously intelligent enough to cooperate at least for jointly attacking prey. Evidence points to them being immune to direct phaser and blaster fire while they're in "phased mode".
They usually have a lair in some cavern inaccessible to most creatures.
Frequency: Unknown (Very rare?).
Rating: Extremely dangerous. Do not approach any area even remotely looking
infested with these creatures. Report all sighting information to Colony
Administration immediately.
