Frost, Special Operations On November 7th, on a remote Romulan base, Akiran Super-Spy Emery Burke made a daring escape with top secret Romulan documents. Bought back to the Discovery, Burke learns that the Starfleet crew was working with his own government to recover him without incident. The USS Discovery is given the task of bringing Burke back to Akiran space, and his mission debriefing. It does not take long before lines are clearly drawn between Lieutenant Frost and the Akiran spy. Captain Eastwood is forced to mediate, while Burke takes an interest in Ashla Bogan, much to the Captain's utter dismay. Times are tense as Captain Eastwood entertains a guest he does not really want on his ship. Before they can reach Akira, the Discovery receives new orders, and guests. Two high ranking Akiran officials join the Discovery with new orders for their top agent, and for Lieutenant Frost. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Frost and Emery Burke square of in a dramatic holodeck contest featuring a running gun battle in two sports cars down a winding cliff side mountain road in Greece, and a tense standoff in a system of underground caverns. To both men's anger, there is no clear winner, as the contest was truly a clash of titans. it is after the contest is over that the real challenge begins. Emery Burke and Lieutenant Frost are to work together in searching out a covert arms dealer who might be involved with a series of devastating attacks on Akiran and Federation border worlds. It does not take long for Lieutenant Frost to discover that Emery Burke is his true target on the mission. Belatedly he learn Burke has been suspected of being a double agent with allegiances to the old Akiran monarchy for quite some time. This time it is no holo-simulation, Frost must either kill Burke first, or be killed. In a gritty chase through the city streets of an Akiran border world to Burke's mountain hideout, the two top agents attempt to stop each other at all costs. Finally Lieutenant Frost gets the upper hand and dispatches Burke with the utmost prejudice. In the end ... there could only be one.
* note - the character of Emery Burke was played by Roger Moore of the James Bond series of films. The character of William R. Frost is played by Sean Connery, also of James Bond fame, making for a true battle of the best. - GM
