Recommendations:

Commander Redel, Starfleet Academy: “Cadet Frost is what I would can one of the potentially most useful tools the Federation has seen in years. His skills in Special Operations and unconventional warfare, as well as intelligence have earned him high marks. I deem him ready for deep space and operations as he is called on his apprentice cruise. William Frost is going to be somebody to keep an eye out for in the future.”

Captain Michael Madson - U.S.S. Rueben James: “The work that Ensign Frost performed while aboard this ship can be summed up as no less than spectacular. He singled handedly held off a Jem’Hadar attack, and evaded capture to return to our own lines. For his actions, I am recommending him for the Starfleet Cross. His actions saved my men, and the integrity of the entire offensive. I wouldn’t mind having him covering my back at any time.”

History -

Personal:

Pre-Starfleet: A farmer’s son. He worked day in and day out on the farm, working in the fields, feeding the horses and bailing hay. His father Rico wouldn’t listen to him no matter what Frost would say. His father was the type of person that is a “do it now, and talk later.” Over the course of ten years he’s lost his sense of obedience and cares not for what authority has to say to him. He doesn’t like the idea of being pushed around like piece of paper he blames his father for such an attitude.

His mother was a kind, loving individual. Always cared for what Frost had to say, she read his emotions rather easily, but was strict about his education. His mother didn’t quite understand him as much as she would have liked, he was pretty mysterious keeping things to himself. His mother despised his father because of his drinking habits, she secretly wanted to just take William and disappear, but Rico wouldn’t let her even think about the idea.

William was moderate in school, passing each grade as it came. Not very popular, would rarely ask for help and would hardly ever talk to anyone unless he was forced to. He avoided fights when he could, and kept to himself during social events.

Academy: He was accepted into the Academy in 2370 and graduated in 2374. He majored in Special Operations and minored in Intelligence. He passed with high marks and an attitude.

Commission: After graduating, Ensign Frost was assigned to the USS Pharris, a Rueben James class frigate, and the Special Operations detachment there. Stationed along the Gorn/Federation border, he saw mixed actions from minor skirmishes to participation in the Mertak Hostage Rescue of several diplomats.

Later Ensign Frost boarded the USS Rueben James, where he found his skills were of use after all. He was fighting in the Dominion war, his squad never failing any objectives. He saved a lot of people in his involvement.  He went above and beyond, suppressing a mass strike force of Jem’Hadar for two hours while allied forced retreated. He was presumed MIA until he mysteriously appeared at the neutral borders. He was awarded the Star Fleet Cross, and five Purple hearts. He was later given one Combat Medal. While aboard the USS Valley Forge he played a security role and put his insertion skills to the test. He successfully executed six missions without flaws.

He worked on the U.S.S. Ajax, on portal duty he found a smuggling ring. He fought hard, a two week stand off ending in success. He was awarded a Combat Medal.

Medical: No known allergies or medical dispositions.
