Land Rover Discovery 3 / LR3

Last year at Billing (2004) I took a look at his and thought not bad until I looked at the rear end.

My personal opinion has not changed!

However never judge a book by its cover, so I asked the nice people at Al Tayer Motors for a test drive, well Fadi actually, and my request was granted. So today on the 18th June, I drove off in a slightly used test LR3, to see how it behaved.

External looks aside, the interior is magnificent and very similar to the Range Rover without the walnut trim. My first problem however was when I attempted to fill it with petrol, I could not find a button on the dash anywhere to unlock the cover over the fuel cap …. a quick call to Fadi, there is none, just press the flap and it springs open … duh.

Right, so that was taken care of, so into some easy tracks basically to where I had been the day before to try and find my lens cap that I had lost whilst photographing Team Saluki, and success ….. I found my lens cap for the 80-200 lens.

Next some shots of the vehicle, despite the sun reaching its daily peak and external temperatures in excess of 40C
