A DECK
THE ROOMS THAT ARE LOCATED ON THIS DECK ARE: The Bridge is the command center of the Enterprise NX-01, here the senior officer control every system onboard the Enterprise, everything from the Impulse Engines to the Transporter. Captain Jonathan Archer who sits in the middle chair on the bridge makes all the decisions, decisions like navigational, tactical and the communication decisions. He is surrounded by senior officers on the bridge. In front of him is Ensign Travis Mayweather who mans the Helm station. To the right of him are Lieutenant Malcolm Reed who mans the Tactical station and Commander Charlie Tucker who mans the Engineering station when he is not in Engineering. To the left of him are Sub Commander T'Pol who mans the Science station and next to T'Pol is Ensign Hoshi Sato who mans the Communication station.
The stations on the Bridge: The Helm station is manned by Ensign Travis Mayweather. The Helm station provides the controls for navigational and helm controls. Controls like thrusters, engaging impulse engines, setting the speed of the impulse engines, engaging the warp drive and setting the warp speed of which the ship to travel at from Warp One to Warp Five.
The Tactical station is manned by Lieutenant Malcolm Reed. The Tactical station provides the controls for defending the ship and attacking enemy ships. Controls like firing the Laser Cannons, loading and firing a Spatial Torpedo
The Engineering station is manned by Commander Charlie Tucker when he is not in Engineering. The Engineering station provides the exact same controls as in Engineering. Controls like directing and redirecting power flow to other systems, powering up the warp drive and impulse engines which can also be done from the Helm station, powering down systems if the system is going to overload and run diagnostics on the systems if there are malfunctions.
The Science station is manned by Sub Commander T'Pol. The Science station allows her to scan space for Minshara class planets, she can also scan space for any space phenomena, cloaked ships, she presents the scientific data gathered from the sensors to Captain Jonathan Archer. The controls at her station can allow her to zoom on to a planet, even zoom in to the civilization on the planet, have a look at what clothes are the inhabitants wearing and what distinguishing features do they have on their skin.
The Communication station is manned only by Ensign Hoshi Sato because of her linguistics skills. The Communication station provides Ensign Hoshi Sato with the controls to try to translate the alien language into English, bring up a visual of the alien, use the internal comm system to broadcast a ship wide message.
The bridge of the Enterprise NX-01 contains the first ever dedication plaque which is on the wall next to a turbolift door. The motto on the dedication plaque is "to boldly go where no ones has gone before."
The Situation Room is an open-spaced room located behind the bridge. The Situation Room is where the senior officers go to have their meeting before they set off on their mission, plus the room can also be used for displaying important information, like if a ship is caught in the warp wake at the back of the ship which is causing problems to happen aboard the Enterprise. There is a big console in the middle of the room which can display a schematic of the ship, sensor details of planets or any other information that is located in the computer database. There are computer wall monitors all around the room which display the information that is located in the computer database.
The Captain's Ready Room is used for personal meeting with the other member of the crew for any problems they might have, the captain might want to speak to a member of crew if he has a problem with that person. Captain Jonathan Archer uses his Ready Room when he is not on the bridge so the senior officer on the bridge knows where he is so they can contact him over the intercom and he can be on the bridge quickly if there is an emergency. Jonathan Archer keeps his dog, Porthos in the Ready Room to keep him company and Porthos can stay out of mischief when he is in the Ready Room.
