Starfleet Command has dispatched the
Enterprise to assist the Fortunate, a human freight vessel that has been
attacked by Nausicaan pirates. On arriving, the crew of the Enterprise are
surprised to find that Fortunate's crew doesn't want Archer's efforts to help
them and they are determined to seek revenge against their attackers.

Archer- "Something tells me you didn't call at 4:00 in the morning to talk

Mayweather- "I grew up on a J-Class.
A little smaller, but the same basic design. And one thing I can tell you is

Reed- "For example, what kind of weapons they carry."
Mayweather- "Well, typically nothing more than a low-yield plasma cannon.
But most freight haulers would've upgraded the first chance they got."
Ryan- "That's a transporter."
Mayweather- "Enterprise came with all the trimmings."
Ryan- "I've read about them. Have you been through it?"
Mayweather- "Not yet. Most of the crew's afraid, but I'm kind of curious to
try it out."
Ryan- "They say that for a split second you can actually feel yourself in
both places at once."
Mayweather- "Why do you think I want to try it?"
