ROGUE PLANET Captain Archer and the rest of his crew travel to a planet with an alien species called the 'Eska.' The Eska are hunters, there is a very tense moment between T'Pol and the alien 'Damrus', Archer must smooth our the relations between the Vulcans and the Eska; he explains that the Vulcans are not carnivores. Later that night, while Trip scans a hot mineral spring with his tricorder, Captain Jonathan Archer sees a glimpse of a beautiful woman who then suddenly disappears. He decides to follow her into the jungle, and when he finally reaches a clearing, the woman calls out his name. After he tries to talk through his translator he soon realizes that she speaks English to him but before he can learn much from her, an approaching hunting party scares her and she disappears again. The woman reappears and she reveals to him that she is telepathic and has taken a form of a human female to please Archer. She tells him that her kind can take the form of anything. But when weapons fire from the Eska hunting party strikes near, she tells Archer: "We are what they [the Eska] prize most".
