TERRA NOVA
Terra Nova is a habitable planet, which
was colonized by Earth before high warp speeds was even possible. After
the first group of colonists had settled down, Earth wanted to send a second
group of colonists, but the inhabitants of Terra Nova refused. Shortly, all
contact with the the inhabitants on Terra Nova was lost. Starfleet Command sent Captain Archer and his
crew to Terra Nova to investigate why Earth had lost contact with the
inhabitants and see if there are any humans still left, since that the
Enterprise is their own long-range starship.

Starfleet. If I'm not mistaken, it'll be headline news back home."
Tucker- "'The Terra Nova Puzzle- Solved At Least'- as told by Ensign Travis
Mayweather."
Travis- "Thank you, sir."
