INFORMATION ON THE ENTERPRISE
GENERAL INFORMATION Enterprise NX-01 is the first ever Starfleet ship, so it is the prototype for all the other starships that come after it. The first ever captain to take control of this vessel is Captain Jonathan Archer. Once crew members are transported back up to the ship, they must decontaminate themselves with a decontamination jelly to prevent any alien viruses be loose on the ship. INFORMATION ON THE SYSTEMS ONBOARD The Enterprise has a Universal Translator, but alien languages have to be programmed into it for it to translate the alien language into English, the only alien language that has been programmed into it is Vulcan. The crew have to rely upon Ensign Hoshi Sato to translate Klingonese into English. The Enterprise has a Transporter pad, it has been approved for use by the crew, but the crew does not trust the transporter with transporting them onto a planet or back to the ship in one piece. There is artificial gravity inside the ship, but some parts of the ship do not contain artificial gravity, it is half away between the artificial gravity generator and the deck plates. The Warp Engines were created by Doctor Zefram Cochran and Henry Archer (Jonathan Archer's father).
