SHUTTLE POD
The Shuttle Pods are the crafts that the crew use when they need to go down to a planet. The pods are not capable of warp speeds but they do have impulse engines and thrusters. It take the crew about half an hour to get the shuttle pods ready to be launched. The Enterprise has only two pods which seat seven people not including the pilot.
The crew gets into the pod by a ladder and the crew enter the pod due to a hatch in the ceiling. PROPULSION

WEAPONS The shuttlepod has two plasma cannons which are at the front of the pod and they are used primarily to shoot down enemy fighters but the shuttlepod's plasma cannons only have a range of

The shuttle pods
are kept in the Shuttlebay which is located at the back of the Enterprise. The
pods are lowered down into space by a mechanical arm. The Grapplers are near to
the Shuttlebay, just in case the pod needs to be towed back up the Shuttlebay.
