1. CALL OF THE JUNGLE: Powerful as he is, Tarzan calls often for help from his human and animal friends in the jungle. His call echoing through the jungle brings instant help from man and beast alike.

2. HUMAN SACRIFICE: Leading an army of howling apes, Tarzan rushed the sacrificial temple. He savagely fought off the priests and cut the bonds of the imprisoned scientist. The apes held off the Indians as Tarzan and his rescued friend raced free.

3. IDOL RETURNED: To the Indians it was a priceless idol; to the thieves it was a fortune in gold! After a desperate battle, Tarzan rescued the statue and, with his enormous strength, returned it intact to the grateful Indians. Tarzan had many friends.

4. TARZAN VS TARZAN: After finally tracking down the arch criminal masquerading as himself, Tarzan knew he must capture the evil-doer to clear his name. Fierce anger drove the King of the Jungle against the impostor. There could be only one Tarzan, the real one!

5. NEARLY ENTOMBED: With a thundering roar, the mine timbers began to bend and crumble. Tarzan held up the beams for precious seconds as others ran clear. Amid the crash of the earth and timber, the Ape-Man rolled and crawled to safety.

6. INCHES FROM DEATH: With her oars gone, the girl drifted helplessly in the river filled with crocodiles. Tarzan, swimming to her aid, was attacked by a giant crocodile. Tarzan applied a paralysing grip, struck the death blow with his trusty knife.

7. DEATH MARCH: Mistaking Tarzan for the hunter who had wounded him, the pain-crazed lion charged! As Tarzan swung on a vine to safety, the huge cat, beyond all help, sank to the ground in death. Tarzan was sorry that the jungle had lost another animal.

8. NO TIME TO LOSE!: Out of the muddy river rose the frightening head of a giant hippopotamus. The girl screamed, her small boat swaying in he rushing current. Tarzan dove into the water and guided the craft safely away from the ugly monster.

9. UNEXPECTED DETOUR: Tarzan hurried on a mission of mercy. Suddenly, swinging across a river filled with deadly crocodiles, the vine broke. Lightning-fast action saved the Ape-Man as he twisted in mid-air and grabbed a tree branch barely above the water.

10. THE MAD ELEPHANT: Sir Edward had been left by superstitious natives as sacrifice to the mad elephant. Tarzan, knowing the the beast was wounded, arrived just in time and with a quick knife stroke put the animal out of its misery. The famed British explorer thanked Tarzan for saving his life!

11. FIRE FROM SPACE: As he led the lost Indian Princess across the last mountain barrier to safety, Tarzan paused as a gigantic fire-ball crashed into the valley. What new danger and adventure did this strange space visitor bring? But Tarzan was not afraid!

12. EVERYBODY OUT!: As the smugglers watched for danger in the tree-tops, Tarzan crawled on the ground in front of the jeep. With one mighty heave he turned the machine on its end, throwing the men to the ground. The avenging Ape-Man had prevented their escape.

13. DEATH RIDE: With the leap of a jungle cat, Tarzan dodged the huge sword and grabbed the saddle of the kidnapper. The famous Jungle Lord's straining muscles slowed the huge horse as he cut the saddle strap with his knife. The frightened mine-owner's daughter was safely returned to her terrified father.

14. GRIM ENDING: Tarzan climbed up the tower toward the power lines as the fugitive fired his gun. His ammunition gone, the criminal raised a huge wrench to strike the Ape-Man. But 10,000 volts stiffened the criminal as he accidentally touched the wire above. Tarzan jumped to safety just in time!

15. TERROR IN THE TREES: The shadow became a giant man-like ape. Tarzan ran forward to meet the unknown terror that had been preying on his jungle friends. Tarzan knew his quick movements and fighting ability would overcome the brute strength of the beast. Tarzan was not afraid.

16. TUG OF DEATH: Bound to four horses, Tarzan saw the merciless high priest signal. The Ape-Man braced his enormous muscles. Minutes passed and the exhausted horses fell to the ground one by one. Though still captive, Tarzan was alive and would soon find a way to escape.

17. FIERY FINISH?: The flames leaped higher as Tarzan fought the ropes holding him to the stake. All hope seemed lost as the terrible Headhunters, all eyes on the fire, failed to hear Tarzan's Indian friends quietly approaching their camp for rescue. Tarzan would be saved!

18. WATERY GRAVE: Trailing a hunted criminal across a river, Tarzan streaked up through the shark-filled water and overturned the murderer's boat. One swing of the King of the Jungle's mighty arm knocked the hunted man into a school of sharks, instantly sending him to his deserved fate.

19. GOOD VS. EVIL: Frightened Indians had called Tarzan to stop the fearsome Iron Man. In a battle which shook the jungle, the Ape-Man finally defeated the unknown terror and unmasked him as just another greedy criminal preying on the innocent natives.

20. DESPERATE GAMBLE: Tarzan was thrown into the bull ring by mad hunters who hoped he would meet his death. Tarzan was set to spring as the huge bull thundered toward him. At the last instant, he leaped over the animal's back and the bull crashed into the arena wall. The bull was dead and Tarzan was safe!

21. DANGER LURKS ABOVE: The eyes of the hungry leopard fixed on the scientists below. Tarzan swung toward the beast from the side. The power and surprise of the attack knocked the cat from the tree just in time. The scientists thanked Tarzan for saving their lives.

22. PRISONER OF THE LOST TRIBE: The superstitious warriors of the Lost Tribe had trapped Tarzan. As natives performed the tribal Death Dance, the frightening jungle call of the Ape-Man brought Wongo, the bull ape, feared by the Lost Tribe, to his rescue. The warriors turned and ran...Tarzan was saved!

23. STOWAWAY!: The outlaw animal dealer fought the controls of his airplane... Why wouldn't the craft climb? A huge mountain loomed ahead. At the last possible moment, Tarzan dropped into a deep lake and swam to safety while the plane carried its passenger to his deserved doom.

24. STRIKE FIRST OR DIE: The huge starved reptiles, unleashed by the game poachers Tarzan was tracking, closed in on the Ape-Man. Tarzan's knife struck with great power and speed killing the reptiles before they could strike. The jungle was safe again!

25. THE APE ARENA: Blood-curdling shouts echoed through the arena as Tarzan, unarmed, faced three enormous gorillas. Tarzan could not hope to win but only to stay out of their crushing grasp until help arrived. He sent his familiar bellowing call through the jungle. Tarzan knew help would arrive in time!

26. DARING RESCUE: Tarzan silently approached the stockade of the rebel tribe. With time running out, Tarzan vaulted the fence, cut the missionary's bonds and raced with her to the jungle in a rain of spears and arrows. As he swung through the jungle vines, Tarzan knew he and the girl were safe at last!

27. LIGHTNING ATTACK: Locked in mortal combat, the mighty Tarzan slipped from the grasp of the bull ape and applied a wrestling hold. The speed of the attack stunned the gorilla long enough to allow the Ape-Man to escape.

28. FROZEN STIFF: When Tarzan burst into the laboratory, his muscles were instantly frozen by the terrifying Ice Gun. Tarzan's companion, Dr. Daly, had slipped in a back entrance and was able to turn off the power and save the Ape-Man. Tarzan overpowered the men and turned them over to the law.

29. GAMBLE WITH DEATH: The kidnappers' plane was already rolling when Tarzan leaped on a cycle and raced after it. Almost too late he jumped, grabbed a wing strut and with his extra weight forced the small aircraft down. Tarzan overpowered the criminal and turned him over to the law!

30. THE GIANT SPIDER: Searching the ancient tomb, archaeologist William Howard and his daughter Nancy walked headlong into a gigantic spider web. Tarzan's keep ears heard their cries. He rushed in, lifted an enormous boulder, and crushed the horrible insect. Tarzan had saved the lives of two grateful people!

31. AT THE BRINK: Alone, Tarzan faced the charging pirates as his friends climbed down the rope to safety. As the Ape-Man raised the pirate chief high above his head in a grip of iron, the cowardly crew turned and ran in fear of the great Tarzan.

32. NICK OF TIME: Breathlessly, the terrified native princess watched the starved lion prepare to spring. As if by a miracle, Tarzan appeared from nowhere. The Ape-Man swooped down on a vine and snatched the frightened girl from the jaws of death.

33. OVER THE FALLS: Tarzan and the criminal struggled as their boat neared the falls. The Ape-Man jumped clear as the boat went over. Safe on a jutting rock, Tarzan saw his opponent plunge into the pool far below.
