Not long after Edgar Rice Burroughs died in March, 1950, rumors were whispered that ERB had left in his massive office safe many unpublished manuscripts. For years this legend retained its currency among science-fantasy fans. And now -- from Hulbert Burroughs, ERB's son -- comes confirmation.

Among the newly-discovered, never-before-published Burroughs' stories was one that was seemingly pre-destined to appear in Amazing. For, during February, March and April of 1942, we published three stories Burroughs had written about the adventures of David Innes and Abner Perry in Pellucidar, the hollow world of primitive men and monsters inside the center of the Earth.
