Khitomer Class

The next generation of Federation Exploration ships, the Khitomer class was designed to complement the Federations Excelsior-B and Repulse Class starships, just as the Akira class had done for the Galaxy and Nebula Classes nearly a generation earlier. The ships of the Khitomer class have advanced Sensor system currently in use by the Federation, as a consequence ships of this class are more ofter performing scientific duties than military ones. The Khitomer Class ship has recenly been put into full production.
