Terminator Class

The Terminator class is the most recent modification to the Defiant Class warship designed by Starfleet. Designed to counter large scale combatants, the Terminator was rushed into production after the first T'Saz attack, however the ship didn't fare well in its first engagement. As time passed Starfleet saw the usefulness of this class draining, until Captain Josh Albert began working on a modification to the ship. After several trials the ship was activated and sent to Deep Space Nine as an academy trainer, under the command of Commander Ethan Jones. The Terminator is heavily armored and extremely maneuverable, allowing it to infiltrate enemy territory at high warp. Like the original Defiant the Terminator Class serves many functions in Starfleet, mostly military in nature and is predicted to do such well into the future.
