Shwaib to Hatta
Met up with RPR on the Madam to Shwaib road and after filling up, set off into Wadi Sumayni and towards the Omani Military checkpoint.
Unfortunately no photographs at the checkpoint, but the Omani Military wear camouflaged turbans and were very friendly, joking about the antiquity of the Tonka.
Some dramatic scenery once into the Omani mountains, and a small outcrop provided a slight challange and good photographic opportunity
The road is good graded track, although I would not like to do an emergency stop at speed on that surface.
