Who we are
We are a group of friends who started this Club when we put two facts together: there are many bicycles around that are not being used and there are many people who could use bikes.

What we do
We reactivate old bicycles. We recover bicycles that would otherwise remain unused or might even wind up in the municipal dump. We recycle the parts of those that are too far gone. In exchange for 4 hours of work (building a bicycle fleet, painting a mural, dismantling worn-out bicycles, etc.) anyone can claim a bicycle. Once you have put in your hours of work, you can select a bicycle and begin to work on it with the help of our friendly mechanics and the other participants who are around.

Goals for the season
Our principal idea is to get people on bicycles. We hope to do this by teaching people about the maintenance of their bicycles and by providing them with a barter based source of bicycles.
As of July 2002, we've re-activated 25 bicycles. We've dismantled many bicycles and have a store of extra parts. This summer, we aim to re-activate another 50 bicycles.

What we need
We need bicycles and tools as well as some funds to cover our basic operating costs (oil, grease, solvents, steel wool, etc.). What we need most of all is help: we have many projects and lots of work to do. If you would like to get involved, please let us know.

Where and When
We are open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. We're operating out of the garage behind 6200 de Châteaubriand, at the corner of Bellechasse, Métro Beaubien.
