In November, 2009 Christy and I traveled to Cancun and Cozumel. Cancun is on the Yucatan Peninsula, and Cozumel is an island in the Caribbean Sea. The purpose of our trip was Christy's first Ironman race. We spent the first two days traveling and checking out the island of Cozumel. The following day was spent on the mainland, as we toured the Mayan ruins of Tulum. We did a little snorkeling on Saturday, and on Sunday Christy competed in her first Ironman. We spent our last day on Cozumel relaxing, snorkeling, and touring the Mayan ruins of San Gervasio.
