Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Final Artifact

During the first year of it's mission, the Earth vessel Enterprise, NX-01, discovered that Beta Aurigae VII was the home world of the Zalkat Union. The Zalkatian artifacts found on the planet included a box that once belonged to Malkus the Mighty. Inside the box, the crew found a record written after Malkus was overthrown and information on the four devices he had used to rule the union for a thousand years.

The final artifact was found in 2376...

Just months after the Dominion War, J'Lang of the Klingon Empire has been commissioned by the chancellor to build a war memorial on Narendra III. As ground is broken on the site of the memorial, the fourth artifact is uncovered and the consciousness of Malkus the Mighty is free to take control of those that had been exposed to the previous three artifacts...

...while discussing the Romulan situation with Ambassador Worf, Spock of Vulcan takes control of the runabout taking them to Khitomer...

...Leonard McCoy is with Doctor B'Oraq of the IKS Gorkon, and on his way to speak with the Klingon High Council about medical advances when he takes control of Captain Klag's personal shuttle...

...Robert DeSoto was last known to be on shore leave when he inexplicably steals the three Malkus Artifacts from the Rector Institute on Earth...

...and Colonel Kira Nerys of Deep Space Nine is reported missing when she doesn't return to the station from Bajor.

And now it's up to the crews of the USS Enterprise-E and the IKS Gorkon to determine what happened, and why.
