"It takes courage to look inside yourself...
and even more courage to write it for other people to see."
--Sisko to Jake; DS9/ "Nor the Battle to the Strong"

As I said on my other pages, I am an author. Since I am also a major Star Trek fan, of course, I write Star Trek stories. So, here are a few of them for you to (hopefully) enjoy!

* * *

Novels in Production

  1. The very first Trek novel that I started was a Next Generation story. It centered around Wesley and a diplomatic mission to a planet. While there, they discover a strange slave system...and a human girl. She was the only survivor of the destruction of her parent's ship. She also possesed incredible telepathic abilities and it turns out that she'd been haunting Wesley's dreams.
I'm afraid that I never realized how much I was using from other stories. The only human girl survivor could have been from the original pilot for TOS. And the diplomatic mission that reveals an unknown could refer to...well, a lot of shows. But you see, I am among the rare Trek fans that actually LIKED the character of Wesley Crusher. And so, he was going to be the hero.
I got pretty far in this story--but unfortunately, it was typed on my electric typewriter (Oh, how I love that thing!), and so is not online. Maybe someday.
  2. The second novel is about a girl from the 20th century named Jane Pahr, who is contacted by the original series main characters: Kirk, Spock, and Dr. McCoy. Some people consider this a Mary Sue, and I believe it started that way, but isn't really one anymore. But that's debate-able...LOL
I don't want to give too much away on this one, but I will admit that I am completely and utterly fascinated by telepathy. There are times I would swear that I posses it myself. Maybe that's why it's such a common theme for my stories.

Short Stories

The Original Series

Chekov's Dream

Rated PG What happened in Chekov's head while he was unconscious in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home? This is supposed to be a cutesy, funny one, and not to be taken too seriously...it helps if you've seen Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home...Remember the scene where Chekov is waking up after his subdural hematoma is healed back in the 20th century and Admiral Kirk says "Pavel, name, rank!" and he says his name, then "rank...Admiral" I wondered what he could have been dreaming when he said that and smiled...

In a Heartbeat

Rated PG-13 Lena wakes up to find a gap in her memory...and a Vulcan husband she never knew. Who is he? Did she really marry him? And was he a substitute for a man she once loved...Spock?

Correspondence

Rated G A series of letters written to Spock, by Ayna--starting at age 7. Through her letters, we see her grow up, and learn under Spock's guidance.

Sexy Spock

Rated PG-13 What if Spock was forced to become a stripper? Mild nudity.

The Rainstorm

Rated G The desert-born Spock harbors a secret love for rainstorms. Well, gosh, who doesn't?!

Time's Up

Rated PG An operative of the Ramura (first introduced in VOY ep "Unforgettable") is hiding on the Enterprise as the crew goes mad. They are infected by the virus as seen in the TOS episode, "Naked Time". She needs to capture a runaway from her world/time without being captured as a spy...

Voyager

The Huntress

Rated PG-13/R for non-explicit sexual circumstances In this story, I wanted to write something for Chakotay. I am still working on it!!! So don't ask about it yet! The only hint I will give is that he meet a girl who changes his mind about something...But, go there now to see a Character sheet.

Another Chakotay Story

Rated PG-13 This story is even sillier than Chekov's Dream and pretty much wrote itself. I didn't even plan this one-I just sat down and started writing! I love when that happens!! LOL

Not Another Chakotay Story

Rated PG-13 The sequel to Another Chakotay Story. Still silly, with a special bit of silliness for Bratty!!

Mutiny and Consequences

Rated PG-13 This is a different type of story for me--it's rather dark and a little disturbing. What would have happened if Chakotay had led a mutiny on Voyager? What if his carefully laid plans didn't happen the way he wanted?

Enterprise

Quick Rescue

Rated PGThis is almost exactly word-for-word from a dream I had. A damsel in distress is rescued by an unlikely space pirate...
