Once you get to know him a bit though he will open up pretty quickly. He likes to have fun during his off time, but remembers to act like a starfleet admiral at all times. He has a small tendency to daydream and it has gotten him in trouble a few times during his carrer. Hobbies: Richter enjoys to play 3D Chess and Enjoy the company of his wife and his close friends. Personal History: Born on August 12, 2346 in Paris, France, Richter was born into a great line of Military Generals. He is the fifth Hiron to hold Flag Rank within the military. He is also the only Hiron to serve in Naval Rank. Growing up in Paris wasn't a big deal. Richter attended a private school throughout his basic schooling. There, he learned to be very professional. But of course being young. He had his quite rebellious moments. Upon his 18th Birthday. Richter entered Starfleet Academy. He Majored in Operations. Upon the completion of his 4 years at the academy. He was assigned to the USS Jeno. There he was an Operations Officer, mainly working the late shift. Pretty soon he was able to move up in the chain. Eventually, he earned his first promotion and transfer. He moved to the USS Diamond, and accepted the Assisstant Chief of Operations position and the rank of Lieutenant jg. He remained there for over a year until he recieved his next promotion to Full Lieutenant, and Chief Operations Officer. That shortly lead to his next promotioin and the title of second in command on board. Here he remained again for about 2 years. Then, Richter was offered the first big promotion for any officer. He was hand picked by the Captain for the Job. He gladly accepted and joined the crew of the USS Atlantis. He was then groomed for what lay ahead of him next. In late 2373, The Dominion War had begun. Immediately, Richter was offered a command of his own in a effort to help the federation prepare. Richter, was brought back to earth in order to attend the Command courses and fully understand the workings of a starship. In December, Richter stepped foot onto the Bridge of the USS Infiniti. He was immediatly assigned to Fleet 203 to aid in the recapture of federation outposts along the Cardassian Border. The fleet was mostly successful. Until mid 2375, The Fleet was ambushed by Fleet of Dominion Cruisers. The battle ensued fast and furious. Within the whole 20 minute battle. 10 federation ships were lost, all hand included. In the first 5 minutes, The Flagship was destroyed. Quickly acting, Richter took command of the fleet and led them to a victory. Thus earning him the "Dominion Conflict Commanding Officer Gold Star of Valor." Upon the defeat of the Dominion, Richter continued his command. In late 2379, Richter was asked by Starfleet to become a Flag Officer and assume command of Fleet 203. Richter gladly accepted. His parents were overjoyed at the news of him becoming a Flag Officer. Richter commanded Fleet 203 for about 2 years until one day, he recieved a message from Admiral James West, The Director of Fleet Intelligence for Independence Fleet. West offered him their now vacant position of Director of Fleet Development and another Promotion. Again, Richter couldn't refuse. Now as the Director of Fleet Development, Richter hopes to help make IDF the best it can be.
