Time continues to fly by as I write this in mid-March. Between Women's Day, birthdays, and Nauryz (Kazakh New Year) we're doing a lot of celebrating. The big news right now is the onset of spring. The snowpack is beginning to melt, though it's taking its time. I recently finished a unit on immigration with my students which was fun. While I'm definitely looking forward to coming home in June and seeing friends and family, I can honestly say I'm feeling at home here, now. I've posted some photos from the first half of March, including a few from my friend Anatoly's birthday party, which you can see in my March photos.
