Minor Lions Maul Brossard Cubs

The
Minor Provincials have begun in St-Lazare. In the Participation
level of the tournament, in their first game, the Minor Lions beat
the Minor Cubs or Brossard 22 - 11 and will play Villeray tomorrow
(Sunday) at 10h00.
As
for our Minor Lynx team, their afternoon was not as pleasant as the
Minor St-Lazare team beat them 15 - 2. Their next game will be
Sunday July 17th, at 18h00 against either Valleyfield or
Brossard.
Chin
up guys. Take it one inning at a time and one game at a time but
most of all, win or loose, have fun and enjoy the competition.

Carmel Pitches One-Hitter
At
the
Minor Provincials in St-Lazare, Alex Carmel of the Minor Lions
pitched a complete game one-hitter to beat Villeray 10 - 1. The NDG
Minor Lions, entered in the Participation Level of the tournament, are now 2
- 0.
The
Minor Lynx were rained out and are scheduled to play tomorrow
night.
