Biography

Jeremiah was born on Earth, and raised for the first eleven years of his life on the USS Constitution, Flag ship of the Federation, by his father, Admiral John Edward Griffith. At the age of twelve, Jeremiah was left on the Vulcan homeworld to begin training with his mother! As every vulcan trains their mind at that age. Jeremiah excelled quickly, and was accepted to the Vulcan Parliament at the age of 19. However, at the age of 21 Jeremiah decided that to better serve the parliament it would be necessary for Jeremiah to become part of the federation much like his father! Thus at the age of 21 Jeremiah left Vulcan and reported to Star Fleet Command to begin training at the academy. However upon arrival the Commondant of the Academy, decided to test Jeremiah's aptitude and knowledge. Upon doing so it was discovered that further training would not be necessary as the information and manuevers covered at starfleet were already known to Jeremiah, merely from his days of watching his father command the Constitution. Jeremiah was soon commisioned as an Ensign, first in starfleet history to never attend the academy. Jeremiah was accepted as a helm officer aboard the USS Prometheous, a Galaxy class starship under the command of Captain Katherine Millar! After serving on the Prometheous for only 8 months, Jeremiah was promoted to the rank of Lt. (skipping Lt (jg) for reasons of the captain) Shortly after Jeremiah was transferred to the Medical transport ship USS Moriarty where he served as assistant chief operations officer! After being on the Moriarty for 2 years, Jeremiah was promoted to the rank of Lt. Commander, and was put in charge of operations on the Moriarty. Jeremiah continued to serve on the Moriarty for 3 more years, and then by only a stride of surprise Jeremiah was contacted by Starfleet command and offered a position on the USS Enterprise G, under the command of Rear Admiral William Riker, Jeremiah spent 12 years aboard the Enterprise G, and was promoted to the rank of Commander after only 7 years. During his time on the Enterprise, Jeremiah served as Chief Operations officer, Chief Tactical officer, Chief Conn Officer, and executive officer! During his 12th year on the Enterprise, Jeremiah was contacted directly by the Commander in Chief of Starfleet command and offered a command position aboard the USS Avalon. Jeremiah accepted and then spent only three months on the Avalon, when the Avalon was transferred to Jeremiah's own CO Captain Ginny Hollingshead and Jeremiah Assumed command as XO for the USS Patriot where he remained for another year! Then out of the blue he was contacted by an old acquantance and friend Captain Ace Decade, and asked to take command of the USS Liberty! He now proudly serves on the USS Liberty as her commanding officer!

Captain Griffith has been awarded numerous and various Awards, Medals, and Commendations over the course of his Starfleet Career.
