Biography

Jordan was particularly unknown in the ranks of StarFleet. He rose to the rank of Commander without much pomp and circumstance, just hard work and determination. He's helped forge alliances with rogue sects of Jem'Hardar who now offer their services to the Federation.

He started his career on Earth serving as a clerk in the Federation Diplomatic Corps. He was then transferred to Starbase 210 near the Romulan Neutral Zone. For almost 15 years he witnessed countless confrontations between the Federation and the Romulan Star Empire. Most were minor, but could've easily erupted into full-scale war. It was he and his diplomatic team which saved the day. Before his transfer to the Liberty, he was Head of Diplomatic Operations on newly built Deep Space 10 on the other side of the Bajoran wormhole in the Gamma Quadrant. During a routine patrol mission in one of the station's runabouts, he and three of his team were attacked by Jem'Hardar warships. The runabout was destroyed, but not before they took out two of the three attacking warships. Unfortunatley only two people survived the ordeal, Lt. Commander Xanadu and his now wife, Racheal Valdez. She now serves as the new Head of Diplomatic Operations on DS10.

Xanadu enjoys playing the violin along with sparring in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu, a human fighting technique. He is an accomplished pilot, a mean card player, and according to his children, an awesome father. He took the assignment aboard the Liberty as a way to one day get a command of his own. For now, he proudly serves as the Liberty's Chief Diplomatic Officer.
