Eye Of The Dragon
Episode #2

The USS Liberty has been given the honor to make first contact with an entirely new and intelligent race, the Jormanii. The planet is Class M with gravity similar to Vulcan. Those officers who are not Vulcan, will tire easily.

Upon arrival at the Planet Jormanii, the Liberty scans the area and to their surprise, find that the Jormanii's culture is somewhat like midevil times. The Midas Array pick up a large football sized golden eye, on a stone pedastal with emerald green iris pulsing with energy. It resembled an energy signature from the ancient T'kon Empire.

Since the planet has Vulcan like gravitation, Ace orders Sutak and Tavik to lead the away team along with Celchu and Buitlier. Both, Vulcan officers were ordered to have surgery to make them look more like the Jormaniians, and not Vulcan.

While circling the planet, the Liberty's orbit started rapidly decaying, which ludged the vessel toward Jormanii resulting in a thunderous crash on the surface below, via the Eye of the Dragon. A local witnessed the crash and instantly ran to tell his higher priests what he had seen. Recovering from the crash, the Liberty officer get very angry with one another as they repair the ship.

Meanwhile, the away team noticed that the locals are acting very rude to one another. Bumping into each other, calling one another names, etc. Tavik had suspicions that the Eye had something to do with this, and this could be what is effecting the crew of the Liberty as well.

As time passed the away team had found the Eye of the Dragon. They discovered that it was a quantum sail, an energy field that reaches out and captures quantum energy at the quantum foam level.

Shortly thereafter, the away team learn that the Jormaniians have discovered the Liberty and are on their way to rid of it. Quickly, they beam back to the ship and Lieutent Tavik along with Ensign Quinse began repairing the warp cores. However, it didn't take long for the Jormaniians to reach the ship and began firingtheir cannons and muzzle loaders at the vessel. Luckily, Tavik and the engineering crew get the cores up and running and the Liberty back into space.

While in space, Connelly and Buitlier take an escope pod without the Captain's permission and head back down to the Jormanii planet to try and make piece with the Jormaniians. Connelly tries to convince them that the crew of theLiberty are Gods watching above keeping watch of the Eye. On a successful attempt, Connelly and Buitler are beamed back to the Liberty.
