We make full size custom models of kick-outs and windows or any custom construction detail for instruction or display purposes. These models are exact ‘cutout’ sections of house construction and range in size from 24" x 24" x 24" to 7" x 36" x 48". They show the proper application of various moisture intrusion prevention products and techniques that should be used on ALL home construction. We have built dozens of these models for display and instruction purposes for AWCI, MWC, home inspectors and inspection instructors and for sales displays. They are complete in every way and are properly caulked and include properly installed components (i.e.: gutter on the kick-out model). These are valuable sales and instructional tools!

This model is of 2 x 4 and 2 x 6 construction, with ˝ inch plywood sheathing, building paper, shingles, 5 inch gutter and 1.5 inch EIFS wall covering. The size is approx. 24 inches x 24 inches x 24 inches and weight is 46 pounds. Hearty board or vinyl siding can be substituted for EIFS.

This model is
of 2 x 4 construction with ˝ inch plywood sheathing, building paper and 1.5
inch EIFS. It has a 2.0 x 2.0 single hung window and shows DamSil
installation in ‘stages’. The size is approx. 7 inches x 30 inches x 42
inches and weight is 55 pounds. Hearty board or vinyl siding can be
substituted for EIFS.
