Junora is the daughter of the Nuan Fleet Marshall and is 18 years old. She holds the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the Nuan Air Command, which is equal to a Commander in Starfleet. At 17, Junora was the youngest member of the Nuan militia to reach the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Many believed that she gained this rank because her father was the Fleet Marshall, but she attained her rank on her own, but at a heavy price. Whilst serving as an engineer aboard one of the few remaining Nuan ships, the young Lieutenant Junoris had to take command when a Barien decrum torpedo destroyed the Bridge, killing everyone, including her older sister. She commanded the ship and brought it back to Nuan space and for her bravery and skill she was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the Nuan Fleet. Junora's father Fleet Marshall Loris had tried to convince Captain Devore not to venture into the sector of space the Nuans had lost to the Bariens 147 years before. When the Field Marshall realised that Devore was determined to enter Barien space, he assigned Ambassador Mual and his own daughter Junora to assist Captain Devore navigate the area. She is very pretty and stands five feet seven inches tall with light brown hair. Her natural beauty hasn't been lost on the crew of the Leviathan and she has started a romantic relationship with Cadet Brayden McCaffee. Because of her interest in the Federation and her affections for Brayden, Junora requested to stay aboard the Leviathan after the Barien conflict was resolved. This request was granted by Captain Devore and she has been learning all the functions of the vessel ever since. Currently assigned to Operations, she was senior Operations officer before Ensign ASHER arrived onboard. Junora like the rest of her race has a strong DNA link to the Alpha Quadrant's Bajorans, although the Nuan ridges across the bridge of the nose are more arched and pronounced. Brief studies of the DNA point to a common ancestor in their distant past. |
