Rashad T`Kul was born on September 20, 2359 on Bajor of a Romulan diplomat father and a Bajoran noble mother. As a Romulan/Bajoran hybrid female, she has the usual severe Romulan forehead, eyebrows and Vulcanoid ears, plus the Bajoran nose ridges and an earring to match. Her name in Romulan is i-T`Kul t`Rashad. She is 170 cm tall and weighs 60kg. Her skin is greenish-white and her hair and eyes are brown.

When the Cardassian authorities closed down all the alien diplomatic missions on Bajor, T`Kul's family fled to the mountains and joined the Resistance. At the age of ten, after her parents were captured by the Cardassians, her aunt Veran sent the girl to Vulcan. There, Rashad attended the Science Academy, graduating in the top 5% of her class. Upon her graduation, she entered Starfleet Academy, where she majored in Interstellar Law and Covert Operations. After graduation from the Starfleet Academy, she was appointed as a JAG officer,in the rank of Ensign, to DS14.

T'Kul possesses stealth and the ability to access top secret databases without authorisation by "cracking" the codes. During the Vulcan Science Academy years,she was trained in Vulcan martial arts, logic, and the performance of mind-meld and nerve pinch. She also possesses perfect knowledge of Romulan,Bajoran, Cardassian, Vulcan and standard English. Rashad's temper is a bit rebellious due to her racial background and early childhood experiences as a member of the Bajoran Resistance.

Her likes are for the officers and civilians with the sense of honour and justice. T`Kul's sympathies are with the cause is the Romulan Opposition/underground and the New Maquis, although she is loyal to Starfleet.

She believes in the Prophets and silently prays to them every day before performing the ritual Vulcan meditation taught to her at the Science Academy.

A personal note stated by T'Kul herself is, "I swear eternal hostility to every form of tyranny over the minds of all sentient lifeforms..." All other information about T'Kul has been classified by Starfleet Command.

Rashad was promoted to full Lieutenant by Captain Devore in April 2383 for the capture and subduing of Lt. Anderson, who plagued the Leviathan with acts of terrorism. A month prior to joining the crew of the USS Leviathan, Rashad had been convicted of "hacking" top secret Federation databases. The records of her court-martial were erased and she was held at a classified location until she agreed to accept a covert assignment from Admiral Beard on the new vessel. After the rescue of the Devores from the hands of Beard and "Captain Lighter", the records of her arrest, detention and recruitment by Beard came into light, and the new Deputy Flag Admiral of Starfleet - Kyrie McCaffee - arranged for her full pardon.

After the pardon, the Romulan-Bajoran chose to remain as a Starfleet Intelligence Officer aboard the USS Leviathan. Her outstanding participation in the apprehension of Beard and the rescue of the Devores earned Rashad a pardon and a promotion to Lieutenant Commander.

Rashad was again promoted to the rank of Full Commander in March 2384, when she became the Leviathan-A's first officer, replacing Commander Toran Soliel. Soliel in order to save the lives of the ship 'volunteered' to go with the female 'Q' who had sent the Leviathan-A to the Andromeda-Cirrus galaxy. In return, the 'Q' sent the USS Ronin back to the Milky Way and the Z'Terul Brood that was about to overwhelm the Leviathan back towards the advancing Proletarians, sworn enemies of the Z'Terul.
