The Captain sat back in the chair of his vessel, hidden from the sensors of both the Ferengi Marauder and the ISS Leviathan using a cloaking device. He wasn't worried at the moment about either vessel detecting them.

"Sir, we've just received a message from Kil-oh." The man at the operations console announced. "The human shuttle is ready to leave."

"What is the status of the human vessel ?" The Captain enquired.

"Their primary shields are still down." The man at the tactical console announced. "Their weapons are off-line."

"Good." The Captain announced. "Helm, set a course towards the vessels, put us between the shuttle and their ship. Tactical, start jamming sub-space communications."

The crew of the vessel worked effortlessly carrying out the Captain's orders.

"Sir, we are within a thousand kilometres of the shuttle." The Helmsman announced. "Their sensors will start to detect the sub-space distortion of the cloaking device."

"Time to spring our surprise." The Captain announced. "De-cloak and raise shields, helm continue on course."

The Cardassian Galor de-cloaked and emerged from sub-space. Immediately the Marauder raised its shields, just as the Captain had told them to do. The small shuttle did the same, but not fast enough to stop the Marauders attack. The shuttle shook on the viewscreen and started to vent warp plasma. Kil-oh had done his job of disabling the shuttle. The viewscreen changed to show the Leviathan firing on the Marauder, several hits being made.

"Target the shuttle." The Captain ordered. "Open a sub-space channel to the Human vessel. Tell them to surrender or we will destroy the shuttle."

"Message sent." The communications officer announced. "The message was received, but no reply."

It was a couple of minutes during which nothing major happened, the Leviathan had not fired on the Marauder again. Then the communications officer announced that the Leviathan was attempting to contact them.

"On screen." The Captain ordered.

[ISS Leviathan to unknown vessel, we are prepared to surrender. What are your terms ?]
