Sun Catchers of July 13,
2002 Picnic Meeting with Installation of New Officers
These glass sun catchers were
a part of the installation of officers.
With some special words to
each new officer, Nell Doyel reviewed the duties of each office,
presented a challenge to each new officer, and had also presented
each officer with a handmade glass sun catcher she made. Each
sun catcher represents the duties of each office.

President:
The President is responsible
to keep the flame of our Volksmarch club burning through her
leadership and example. |
|
|
Vice President:
The Vice President
will plan walks and club activities to promote walking in all
settings. |
|
|
Secretary:
The Secretary will
keep the official record of the club's meetings and attendance
and do all correspondence. |
|
|
Treasurer:
The Treasurer will
account for all funds of the club and make every effort to keep
us in the "green" and out of the red. |

Membership
Chairman: The Membership
Chairman will relate to all walkers as beautiful flowers to be
gathered together for fun and fellowship. |
|
|
Specialty Sales
Chairman: The Specialty
Sales Chairman will handle all special items of interest to walkers
and keep all the record books, shirts, walking books, etc. available
to members. |
