Recreation area is open 8:00
am to sunset, daily.

Trail Description/Rating
Two trails are offered; one
starting at Krul Lake and the other starting at Bear Lake.
The Krul Lake trail includes
a long scenic boardwalk. The Bear Lake trail completely circles
Bear Lake. Please note that there is one event stamp whether
you walk one or both trails. But record as much distance as you
walk.
Trails are rated 2, not suitable for wheelchairs and
strollers.
Amenities
Krul Lake Recreation Area has
a five acre lake and offers a swimming dock, campsites with electricity,
restrooms, showers, picnicking, and a 2000' handicap accessible
boardwalk hiking trail. For more info regarding these amenities,

Sorry, no pets allowed. Service
animals are welcome everywhere, of course.

Directions
From I-10:
Take exit 26, CR 191 north through Bagdad to Milton 3.5 miles.
Turn left onto US 90, 4 blocks to Stewart St. (SR 87), right
for 9 blocks (opposite high school) to Oliver St. Brown info
sign at corner. Turn right and follow CR 191 for 19.5 miles northeast
towards Munson. At 0.2 miles before SR 4, turn right into Forestry
Headquarters to register (box under table in lobby).
After registering at the Forestry
Headquarters, you can drive to the start point of your choice.
