Gimli

Gimli son of Gloin was chosen in Rivendell for the Fellowship of the Ring, to represent the Dwarves. Gimli was one of the few dwarves to become friendly with dwarves. Legolas was his closest friend. Gimli fought bravely at the battles of Hornburg, Pelennor Fields, and the Black Gates of Mordor. After the war, Gimli became the lord of the Glittering Caves, and the caverns beneath Helm’s Deep. In 120 of the Fourth age, when, joined by his friend Legolas, he sailed on an Elven ship into the Undying lands.
