General Cardassian Ship Overview: Cardassian vessels are generally durable and multi-purpose. They reflect the Cardassian's relatively unadvanced technology and their lack or resources. As a result the Cardassians typically build durable vessels resulting in a lack of need to research newer vessel designs and maximising production thus keeping the Cardassian fleet as strong as possible. The key to the Cardassian fleet is undoubtedly the Galor Class. It's big enough for most missions, small enough to be mass-produced. Indeed the Cardassian's most powerful vessel, the Keldon Class, is in fact just a Galor variant. And the only other major vessel in the Cardassian fleet, the Hideki, is rarely seen. Due to their relative weakness compared to the major vessels of other races, Cardassian vessels are often seen in small groups known as wolf packs. Additionally there is the infamous Cardassian mind. Utilizing their mind the Cardassians are great tacticians. Coming up against a Cardassian vessel an enemy can expect to see rather..... unusual tactics. These include holographic projections, special formations and other such problems. Indeed even vessels the most powerful vessels often have the problem of not knowing what to shoot AT.
