Slightly more powerful than a Romulan Warbird the Battlecruiser is much smaller, only the size of a Galaxy Class. This vessel provides the backbone of Dominion fleets and behaves as Galaxy Class vessels do in Federation fleets. There are not many of these vessels as a few Dominion fighters can deal with most things, as a result this ship often behaves as a command ship or a vessel to carry Founders without chance of destruction. The massive power of these vessels also holds intimidation value, many a Gamma Quadrant species have kneeled into submission after a few of these vessels have been spotted heading for their homeplanet. A few of these vessels were destroyed during the Dominion War but it was a rare occasion. Truly a vessel to be reckoned with.
