The Constitution class is one of the most famous classes in history. These were among the most powerful and advance ships of their day. These ships were refitted but have since been retired  having been replaced by Excelsiors. These ships were however a quarter the size of a Galaxy. Twelve Constitutions had their class name to Starship Class. The Constitution was the Galaxy of its day. Big, powerful and an all round excellent ship.
