After about 150 km on road in and around Dubai, it was time to hit the tracks through Hatta and on to the dunes at Al Hayer along with Jon in his Patrol and Stuart in his Wrangler.

I had to adopt a driving style as with the Freelander, by driving on the ridges rather than having the center ridge hit the underside.
