Early History and Family Background:
House Lennex is an old house, having survived close to a millennia. Centuries ago, House Lennex enjoyed a seat on the Senate, but disputes with rival families eventually led to the removal of Lennex from the Senate floor, and the adding of a more moderate family. Although disgraced for more than a century, the family eventually let the past be the past, and moved on. The family now enjoys a privileged life as plantation owners. Although the family does not necessarily agree with their men serving in the military, it has been a tradition for over a century, that the oldest male in every generation lead the family into military victory.
T'Maekh is the first son of seven to be born to Dhiemm and Jaeih. As a child, T'Maekh was frequently seen reading late into the night in the family's library, of the family's many military victories, insignificant though they may be. At the young age of 6, he expressed his want to join the Rihannsu Marines. Because of this, he often times grew too intense during team sporting activities in his school, which led to frequent disciplinary action. Because of this, T'Maekh is often times seen as an arrogant man, with little need of anything else save his own advancement. He was unpopular in his pre-military days, which only strengthened his resolve to command a unit in the Marines.
Military History: Galae Marine Forces:
Upon enlisting, T'Maekh felt something he had not felt in a long time. Happiness. Because he truly enjoyed his job, unlike many of the other enlisted men, he scored highest in almost every aspect of cadet training. In the cadet squadron battle simulation, T'Maehkh broke a record several years standing, by not only defeating his opponent, but by doing it with only a fraction of his forces remaining, with no support for several days at a time. Upon graduating cadet training second in his class, he was appointed to Deep Space Patrol on board the RES Falcon.
It should be noted, although records of this sort are typically labeled "classified", that his most significant accomplishment while serving the Marines, was the successful securing of the Rigelius System after a rebel uprising. The Falcon was asked to proceed to the Rigelius System after local Rihannsu forces became overwhelmed. When the Falcon entered into the system, the marines were transported down to the surface, only to learn that all Rihannsu forces had been murdered. T'Maekh's senior officer was infuriated when locals reported that the rebels stole an armored carrier used to transport troops around the planet. When he returned to the ship and reported his findings to the Daise Enarrain, the Falcon then proceeded to scan the area of surrounding space. Unfortunately the rebels masked their ion trail and could not be traced. The Falcon stayed it the area for several days restoring peace and order to the planet, when suddenly the ship dropped out of cloak, and began firing. The Falcon's shields were not operating at the time, because of frequent transporter activity to and from the surface. Due to the absence of shielding, the bridge was destroyed in the first barrage of disruptor blasts.
T'Maekh, who was sleeping at the time was shocked awake by the blasts and immediately roused his men. He then led them through the ship and gave them orders to help the wounded, and try to repair any damage that they could find. He then accessed internal sensors and found out that roughly half the decks were breaching, and that the bridge had been destroyed. With a sigh he ran toward Main Engineering, where a group of junior officers were desperately attempting to contain the emergency force fields on all the decks. He took a quick look around and asked where the Daise Engineer was, and was informed that he died along with the rest of the senior crew, as well as his superior officer. T'Maekh quickly searched through his memory and then announced, "By order of Section 15 Alpha, of the Rihannsu Marine Forces Tactical Manual, I am hereby taking command of this ship. If anyone has any objections please say so now." He then looked around, and when he found no opposition, he ordered that weapons be brought online. When informed that they were inoperative, he ordered that life support be rerouted from unnecessary sections. When that was done, and weapons were back online, and he issued one order. "Target their weapons banks and fire. I want them alive." The Erein nervously targeted the disruptors and fired. The aim was perfect. With an angered look, he ordered that repair teams be dispatched immediately. He then asked two of his men to come with him to the transporter room. He then proceeded to transport all the rebels to the cargo bays. While he was returning to engineering however, he noticed that a power relay that was being repaired by an Erein was about to overload. He shouted "look out," and dove at her, shoving her down the corridor just as the relay exploded. She said her thanks, and went about her work, and T'Maekh thought nothing of it. In engineering, repairs were coming along well, and communications were back online. In a brief conversation with Galae Command, T'Maekh informed them of what happened, and that he had taken control of the vessel. When he asked what to do with the rebels, he was told to "See to it that justice is served." Later that night, after repairs were well under way, and a support ship was en-route, T'Maekh proceeded to the cargo bay, with three of his men behind him, as well as what was left of security.
"More than three hundred Rihannsu are DEAD. Good men and women, who deserved to die in battle, not in their sleep. I lost friends tonight because of you. Now you will pay." With those words he drew his disruptor and fired a single shot into the chest of their leader. He then did the same to the other thirty-three rebels. After this he ordered that they be transported to the surface. Once there, he ordered that the bodies be arranged in the town square of the capital city of the planet. He ordered them to be stood up. While a live broadcasting aired planetwide, T'Maekh gave the people an warning. "More than three hundred Rihannsu are dead, because of these poor, stupid fools who thought that they could make a difference. Let this be known to all of you. From now on, if for any reason a Rihannsu dies, ten of your local citizens will die also." He then transported back to the ship. Two days later, support arrived, and he was congratulated on a job well done, and was relieved.
Excerpt: Senator S'harien tr'Radaik
This man saved my daughters life. In his report it is stated that he pushed a young lady out of danger as a power relay exploded. My daughter reports that the incident happened to her. I am forever in T'Maekh tr'Lennex's debt. My wife died several years ago, and my daughter is my only child. Had she died, I would have nothing. I am therefore, issuing an request that he be admitted to Galae Academy. I have already spoken to him, and he feels that he has already won his victory, and that he would very much like to command a ship one day. He has also been informed of the fact that he saved my daughter's life, and he has agreed to keep in contact with her per her request.
Galae Academy:
Where once he had been the top of his class in Marine Cadet Training, now he was at the bottom. He could not seem to understand the engineering classes, and in science he was a total failure. However, when it came to tactical engagements, and security operations, he excelled. It was recommended by one of his professors that he focus on security training. So it came to be that 4 years after he started, he graduated thirty-third in his class. His parents, who lived half a world away, did not show up for graduation. Shocked, T'Maekh tried to contact them, but only got his brother reply. So he waited for 3 days after graduation. Then out of nowhere, a local police officer from a city he had never heard came to him in his dorm room and informed him that his parents had been killed in a shuttle accident. Both had died instantly. Grief strucken, he contacted his eldest brother, who was only 20 years old. He informed him that he was now the head of the family, and to see to it that the family's plantation is taken care of. Unfortunately for T'Maekh, he was already on active duty and would not be able to attend the funeral. He has not returned to ch'Rihan since then.
Galae Career:
T'Maekh was assigned to the RES Hartoom after his academy days, at SecondASec. For eight months he served until they entered into a nebula attempting to extract some debris they detected inside. Things went wrong many times over until situations deteriorated so badly that a fairly large group of the crew fled in the escape pods against orders. Only 2 survived.
T'Maekh was later rescued along with a companion from engineering, Erein tr'D'erec by the RES Khellian. Both were reprimanded by Daise Enarrain Vahd, before being assigned to active duty. His current posting is Acting CSec on board the RES Khellian.
