- Since she started going to school Willow began to ponder and wonder about her teachers and their motivations and reasons for their actions. This of course translated into Willow being curious to the same, if not greater extent when she became a teenager and treated her parents the same way. Currently, Willow does not ask that many obvious questions to her superiors – but occasionally wonders what or why they have done a particular action or delivered a certain order.
- Willow can be a bit snobbish when someone rubs her a certain way. This occasionally happens when she does not think that someone is respectable or does not respect her . . . otherwise, she is open-minded towards people.
-Willow prefers to eat all types of Seafood – since she grew up in Boston, she became accustomed to eating it . . . she replicates any variety available in the Federation database. She tries Seafood dishes from other cultures that she meets too. Willow’s
favorite desert is cheesecake. She does not have a favorite beverage exactly but can be seen sipping a Vodka Martini once in a while.
Personal History:
- Willow was born in Boston on May 09, 2356. Willow's sister Janice was born in the same city on
February 28, 2357 - almost ten months after Willow was born. Considering the fact that the sisters were born only months apart, their family decided to raise them as twin sisters; as a result of their upbringing, Willow and Janice are closer than most siblings despite having very different personalities and looks. The Bristow family raised both Janice and Willow in Boston. Willow graduated from the high school in 2373 and Janice graduated from the same school in 2374. They were basically
inseparable throughout their childhood and adolescent years of life.
- After graduating high school, Willow volunteered at the local hospital as a day care worker. Willow worked as a full-time Hospital Day Care worker for the next two years. When Janice graduated high school, she took up
traveling and vacationing for over ten months. Janice returned much to the disappointment of her family since they wanted her to work. After much debate, Janice! decided to apply to Starfleet and persuaded Willow to do so. Both sisters did that and then left for San Francisco to attend Starfleet Academy.
Academy:
- When the sisters entered the Academy, they went in different directions. Janice knew what she wanted straight away, majored in Tactical, and minored in hand-to-hand combat. It was not as simple for Willow as she enjoyed several subjects but studied several areas within psychology. She was intelligent enough to study four fields within psychology – but never majored in
Counseling. Child Psychology was her favorite subject within the beginning of first year. However, Willow found Forensic Psychology even more fascinating and became an expert at it. She ended up getting
honors in Forensic Psychology, and a few instructors suggested ! that she should think about studying Security as well. Willow sort of declined and only minored in Security since she knew that she wanted to be a psychologist so badly by the end of the second year.
- Both sisters graduated in 2379 with the rank of Ensign. Janice scored average in most of her areas of study except Tactical which she specialized in. Willow excelled in all of her minors and her majors, receiving high marks in Forensic Psychology; Willow graduated within the top 5% of her graduating class.
- A couple weeks after graduation, Janice received her first assignment a couple of days before Willow did. Janice was assigned to Deep Space 15, which was newly built and resided in the Janova system; Janice was given the title of Tactical Officer. Willow received a very less exciting assignment. Since Willow did not major in Counseling Psychology per se, she was assigned to the Jalnak Colony within the farthest reaches of the Alpha quadrant – so Willow was a little envious that Janice got a ‘better’ deal despite Willow’s higher achievements; considering this assignment was for on-the-job training, < st1:place>Willow was given the title of Assistant Counselor. Willow ended up doing a job that resembled a receptionist, ended up hating it, and waited for her training to be over so she could do what she trained and studied to be.
- Since the destruction of Voyager, her last
assignment, Willow returned to Boston to visit family. She knows that she'll be reassigned soon she just doesn't know where . . . she only hopes that it will be exciting while at the same time she wants it to last long and spend several years at her next outpost.

- Note about last assignment:
Voyager had recently undergone a complete refit and was assigned a new crew. The former CO, Captain Kathryn Janeway was promoted to Admiral and was reassigned along with the rest of the original crew. On June 27, 2379 the new junior officers arrived on board and the new CO, Captain Brad
Bunton.
Willow was first sent to Deep Space 9 and stayed a day there before boarding Voyager, which was scheduled to go there to retrieve the senior staff and enlisted personnel. After that, Voyager left for the Gamma quadrant on an extended surveillance mission, which led them dangerously close to Dominion territory . . . Starfleet did not know the current capabilities of the Dominion, which Starfleet Command presumed to be crippled if not fragmented.
Voyager was sent along with a smaller Federation vessel to which was sent to collect deuterium. When Voyager arrived at the assigned star system several Dominion ships arrived instantly since the system was boarding their territory. Voyager sent a distress call when they seemed to be greatly outnumbered. Despite receiving reinforcements, one Dominion ship broke off heading for the Alpha quadrant. Voyager received orders from Admiral Ross to pursue the vessel since it allegedly carried a renegade Founder bent on restarting hostilities with the Federation.
Just as Voyager began pursuit, many crewmembers felt ill at the same instance – suffering from panic attacks to hemorrhaging. The CMO discovered that it was being cause from a remote device on the Dominion ship that sent communication signals to Voyager endangering the crew . . . within a half hour over 40% of the crew were affected and disabled. The Dominion signal was blocked off but ! many more officers/enlisted personnel were affected – raising the total to 59% of the crew. Willow had estimated that once the total reached 60% the ship would be too impaired to function.
Once triage was complete Voyager learned that it was also being invaded through Cargo Bay 2 . . . this complicated matters since Deck 5 contained most of the ill crew. Within ten minutes, Engineering and surrounding decks were taken as well. Bunton then gave the order for Voyager to self-destruct using a silent countdown. All junior officers and non-Command officers were ordered to l eave to escape pods and told to return to DS9. Voyager self-destructed as the junior officers, enlisted, and regular senior staff reached DS9 . . .
Bunton, and his XO, Commander Julie Swanson died due to the explosion.
