distracting those foolish enough to let their guard

times, but is generaly easy going. She demonstrates
good leadership skills.

Kate originates from the planet Cathar.
She is an only child, and grew up in primitive
surroundings. Kate's species has a releively short
life span, which accounts for her early enrollment in
starfleet.
