The highest ranking enlisted officer on the Starbase.

Attends to various duties on the ship. Usually works in Security/Tactical or Engineering, and can work in Science and/or Medical, can even be found helping out in the Intelligence department and the Marines. 

Even though the position is in Command, they have no real power over the commissioned officers.
