For those of you that don't know.. I am 27 years old. I have a degree in English and Psychology from University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). I work at ABC center for learning, it's a center for behavior therapy for Autistic children. I have a fantastic group of friends that are my extended family including three of the most outstanding women ever- Jamie, Amy, Melonie, and Me make JAMS! On October 19th, 2005 I will be leaving for Bangkok, Thailand to teach English over there till May 16th 2006 (7 months). I am really excited! I have a suitcase big enough to fit a body in and I have begun to pack it up. This week I have to go get vaccinations, anti-malarial, and birth control stocked up before I take off. I hate shots! I also have to get my letters of reference ready to go for job interviews. I have at least three lined up once I get there and two of them are actually exciting! Ed is planning a trip to Tokyo in February and we are going to fly over to meet with him and have some fun! Then Buddha (Mike) is either flying to London, Taiwan, or Tokyo in January or February and we are planning to meet with him wherever he goes. We are also planning a trip to New Zealand and a trek from Kathmandu, Nepal to Lhasa, Tibet with a stop at the Everest Base Camp along the way. I plan on keeping everyone posted so don't worry, plenty of pics will soon be added.
