These are the pictures I took of the Taoyuan Holiday Hotel, where we stayed in Taipei when we first arrived in Taiwan. We got held up due to the typhoons, and couldn't make the flight to Kaohsiung untill the next morning. This section also includes some pictures I snapped while we were riding back to Chiang Kai-Shek International Airport for our flight to Kaohsiung, Taiwan in the morning.

The room control panel, it was interesting to me 'cause I've never been in a hotel room with such a goofy system before, everything was controlled from that panel, lights, tv, ac, etc... guess it might be common practice in some hotels though?

The hotel bathroom, welcome back to the 70s...

My Dad taking a cigarette break outside the hotel as we waited for the bus to CKS Airport.

One of many colorful tour busses we saw around the hotel. This isn't the particular bus we rode on, but they're all the same style...

The freeway, in a less cluttered area of Taipei.

A bunch of ocean freight containers, near the Evergreen container company.

One of Taiwan's finest, a highway patrol officer in his stylin' Mercedes Benz.

That's all for section 2. Go back to the main pictures page, or onto the next section.
